About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in accounting and finance to take on a key role in our organization. As a Financial Management Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with various financial functions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and efficiently
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support
Requirements:
- Masters/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Prior experience in accounting or finance roles preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in MYOB an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and professional growth
