Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop big data platforms using Scala and Spark.
  2. Develop deep understanding of modern data processing technology stacks, including Spark, HBase, Hive, and other Hadoop ecosystem technologies.
  3. Experience with agile development methods, including core values, guiding principles, and key agile practices.
  4. Understanding of Continuous Integration/Delivery theory and application.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Scala and Spark required.
  • Expertise in Data Engineering and hands-on experience in design and development of big data platform.
  • Deep understanding of streaming data architectures and technologies for real-time and low-latency data processing.
  • Experience with NoSQL technologies, including column family, graph, document, and key-value data storage technologies is a plus.
