Job Description

We are seeking an experienced educator to lead and enhance our Primary Years Programme. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering an engaging, student-centered environment and will work closely with teachers, students, and parents to promote the principles of the IB framework.

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and review the PYP curriculum in alignment with IB guidelines. They will collaborate with teachers to ensure effective delivery of the PYP and foster a culture of inquiry and reflection. Additionally, they will organize and lead professional development workshops and training sessions for staff, engage with parents and the school community to promote understanding of the PYP, and coordinate and support student assessments as per IB requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Develop, implement, and review the PYP curriculum in alignment with IB guidelines.
  • Teacher Support: Collaborate with teachers to ensure effective delivery of the PYP and foster a culture of inquiry and reflection.
  • Professional Growth: Organize and lead professional development workshops and training sessions for staff.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with parents and the school community to promote understanding of the PYP.
  • Assessment Coordination: Coordinate and support student assessments as per IB requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • IB PYP Coordinator training or certification.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching and a strong understanding of the IB framework, particularly the PYP.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a commitment to professional growth.
