Our healthcare organization seeks a skilled and compassionate Nurse to provide specialized care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
\The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and well-being in a fast-paced environment.
\- Patient Care and Monitoring: Provide comprehensive bedside care, including continuous patient assessment, maintaining patient hygiene, and offering emotional support to patients and their families. This role requires meticulous monitoring of patient vitals, utilizing advanced monitoring systems to detect any changes in a patient's condition.
- Medication and Equipment Management: Accurately administer medications, fluids, and blood products as prescribed by physicians. A critical part of the role involves precise management of life-support equipment, such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and other specialized devices, ensuring they are functioning correctly.
- Emergency Response: Act as a vital member of the medical team during procedures and emergency situations, preparing necessary equipment, anticipating physician needs, and taking swift action to stabilize patients.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely patient records in the electronic health record system, documenting assessments, interventions, medication administration, and patient progress.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) or General Nurse Midwifery (GNM) with a valid Nursing Registration (State or INC).
