Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust backend software solutions using Python, focusing on AI/ML applications. They will also be required to develop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI or equivalent frameworks, often serving AI-powered features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement backend software solutions primarily using Python, focusing on AI/ML applications.
  • Develop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI or equivalent frameworks, often serving AI-powered features.
  • Build responsive and intuitive frontend user interfaces using React to visualize and interact with complex AI models and data.
  • Utilize cloud platforms like Azure for application development and deployment, demonstrating a willingness to explore new services.
  • Architect and implement Generative AI solutions, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, to enhance model capabilities and provide context-aware responses.
  • Work with and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), exploring fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and optimal model selection.
  • Develop and orchestrate Agentic AI workflows using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar enable autonomous and multi-step reasoning.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to translate research into impactful, deployable solutions.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in the rapidly evolving AI/ML landscape.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Intellectual curiosity and a drive for continuous learning, particularly in AI/ML.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, especially in areas like AI model integration and optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming and experience in developing AI/ML applications.
  • Hands-on experience with React and Azure cloud platform services.
  • In-depth knowledge of API development and Generative AI concepts.
  • Familiarity with RAG systems and Agentic AI frameworks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Participation in Hackathons/Coding competitions, demonstrating initiative and practical problem-solving.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
