Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in gathering, analyzing, and reporting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data.

  • Gather ESG data from various sources within the business and management services for global and UK reporting.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Horizon, our internal business management system, and work closely with the Horizon team to improve the platform.
  • Analyze data points from Oracle-based Horizon, existing spreadsheets, and filing structures, such as volunteering data, energy and waste data from offices, and social value commitments.
  • Organize ESG data records and ensure compliance with auditing procedures and reporting requirements, including corporate target verification with The Social Value Portal.
  • Report ESG metrics and create dashboards using Power BI or similar software for the ESG team and business leaders.
  • Act as a superuser for the UK Corporate ESG team on technical platforms like Novisto.
  • Understand data limitations and capabilities to initiate and create reports that inform decision-making.
  • Analyze datasets and provide detailed insights into volunteering patterns, engagement over time, by business, and by type of volunteering.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and help manage data inputs required for the team and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the global ESG team to ensure alignment with global requirements and maintain the ESG Compliance Tracker.
  • Update, organize, and maintain content on departmental SharePoint sites and Canopy pages.
  • Manage submission of new content to the Carbon Hub and monitor queries and feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in data management and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to type, and proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Office Programs, and Access.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive and confidential workloads.
