Job Title: Data Architect

Main Responsibilities:
  • We're seeking a skilled professional to design, develop and maintain complex data systems for the ingestion, transformation, and storage of large-scale data.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive, and be proficient in SQL query optimization, stored procedures, and complex joins.
  • Experience with ETL tools/processes like Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, and Airflow is essential, along with a deep understanding of Data Warehousing concepts including star schema, snowflake schema, fact/dimension tables.
  • A strong programming background in languages like Python, Java, or Scala is required, with exposure to cloud platforms AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Snowflake being a plus.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in working with real-time data streaming using Kafka, Flink, Kinesis, and containerization/orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices for CI/CD in data engineering, and knowledge of BI/reporting tools Tableau, Power BI, Looker.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to collaborate effectively with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders.
