Core Device OS Software Engineer

As a Support Engineer on the Core Device OS team, you will be responsible for providing first-level support for handling Jiras, tickets, and operational issues from production services. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, working on maintenance-driven coding projects primarily in C++ and Python, and developing tools to automate manual operational tasks.
You will also be responsible for building monitoring metrics dashboards and reporting system health and support status metrics. To succeed in this role, you should have experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, as well as experience in Unix and scripting languages.
A strong understanding of complex application code and the ability to make code fixes to resolve support issues is essential. Experience with AWS, networks, and operating systems is a plus.
This role requires a strong problem-solving skillset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
