Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, implementation and management of secure, scalable and high-performance cloud-based infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This includes designing and deploying virtual networks, subnets, network security groups and load balancers.

In addition to infrastructure deployment and management, the ideal candidate will have experience with API Management, Azure Functions, Application Gateways, Virtual Machines and Managed Identities.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, is also highly desirable. The role requires a strong focus on monitoring and support, including the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide root cause analysis.

Security and governance are critical aspects of this role, requiring the ability to implement and enforce API governance policies, conduct regular access reviews and manage platform access through Azure AD roles and RBAC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Deployment and Management: Design, deploy and manage secure, scalable and high-performance cloud-based infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
  • API Management: Experience with API Management, including creating and managing APIs, products, policies, users and subscriptions.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Build and maintain API deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
  • Monitoring and Support: Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor and Application Insights, and provide L2-L3 support, including troubleshooting complex issues and providing root cause analysis.
  • Security and Governance: Implement and enforce API governance policies, conduct regular access reviews and manage platform access through Azure AD roles and RBAC.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure deployment and management, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven experience with API Management, including creating and managing APIs, products, policies, users and subscriptions.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation, particularly GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of security and governance principles, including API governance policies and access control.
Preferred Skills:
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
