Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on applications, infrastructure, cloud, and network layers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough security evaluations of software applications, networks, and systems using industry-standard tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, OWASP ZAP, Wireshark, and others.
  • Identify security threats, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations, then provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
  • Develop high-quality security reports including technical findings and risk-based guidance for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with development teams to validate and implement security fixes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (application, network, cloud, mobile, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus.
  • Experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
  • Certifications like CEH, OSCP, eJPT, eCPPT, or similar are desirable.
