Concept Art Intern

This is a key role in our team, responsible for bringing game and mobile app designs to life.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for fine art, excellent drawing skills, and a strong understanding of design principles.

We are looking for a talented individual who can work well under tight deadlines, communicate effectively with the team, and produce high-quality concepts that inspire and engage our audience.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop quick and detailed drawings and paintings of environments, characters, buildings, vehicles, and props.
  • Liaise with producers, art directors, and game developers regarding project briefs.
  • Conduct research on concept subjects, styles, and genres.
  • Respond positively and proactively to feedback and continue developing concepts throughout the production process.
  • Use traditional and technological approaches to create designs in 2D and 3D through drawing and painting.
  • Pitch ideas clearly to clients and design teams.
  • Adapt and refine work based on feedback.
  • Maintain good communication and be confident using creative programs and technologies such as Photoshop, Painter, SketchUp, and Illustrator.
  • Meet strict deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in fine art preferred.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop is a must.
  • Bold and inspirational attitude under tight deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and constant drive to succeed.
Bonus Requirements:
  • Avid gamer and mobile app enthusiast.
  • Portfolio showcasing interesting, stylized characters and environments.
  • Strong foundation in traditional arts: color theory, figure drawing, traditional 2D animation, illustration, background layout, and/or painting.
