Job Overview

This role entails defining and maintaining software architecture for embedded systems, leveraging expertise in real-time software development and proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and Stateflow. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of microcontroller architectures and peripheral interfaces, with experience in automotive domain and ECU development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Software Architecture Design: Define and maintain software architecture for embedded systems, ensuring scalability and modularity.
  • Framework Development: Design and implement modular, scalable frameworks using embedded C and MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Algorithm Development: Guide the development of control algorithms and model-based ECU functions.
  • Integration: Ensure integration of software components across embedded platforms.
  • Coding Standards: Establish coding standards, modeling guidelines, and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, systems, safety, validation).
  • Safety Compliance: Support ISO 26262 functional safety and cybersecurity compliance.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Embedded Systems Expertise: Strong expertise in embedded systems and real-time software development.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and Stateflow.
  • Microcontroller Architectures: Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures and peripheral interfaces.
  • SDLC Knowledge: Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC), MIL/SIL/HIL testing.
  • Functional Safety: Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262).
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's/Master's in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  2. Experience in automotive domain and ECU development.
