Key Automation Role

You will work in the capacity of a senior automation engineer, responsible for designing and developing high-quality automation solutions that meet organizational standards. Your primary focus will be on creating efficient testing frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios.

As an integral member of our development team, you will work closely with other engineers to deliver business functionality on time with required quality. Additionally, you will act as a test lead, planning the work of other testing staff and assigning tasks to meet project deadlines.

Designing and developing test cases and test automation suites using Python will be a key aspect of this role. You must possess strong testing skills to provide guidance and assist project staff effectively.

Reviews and approvals of the work of project team members in the writing of scripts, expected results, test results, and defect descriptions are also part of your responsibilities. Ensuring best practices are followed and testing activities stay on schedule is crucial.

Organizing, monitoring, and managing the entire defect management process is also one of your responsibilities.

  • Develop automation/performance solutions that meet organization standards.
  • Work in partnership with development teams to deliver business functionality on time with required quality.
  • Acts as a test lead, planning the work of other testing staff and assigning tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Design and develop Test cases and Test Automation suites using Python.
  • Uses strong testing skills to provide guidance and assist project staff.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience as an Automation QA Tester.
  • Excellent understanding of QA and testing methodologies, best practices.
  • Must have skills in Python for test automation.
  • Experience of working with SOAP and REST service and understanding of SOA architecture.
  • Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks preferred.
  • Experience using SQL to query databases required.
  • Exposure to distributed source control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with test data management techniques.
  • Experience with change management and defect tracking tools.
  • Strong English proficiency level (B2) is required.

The expected seniority level is A3. Candidate must undergo customer and project interviews.

Minimum and Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in technology-related field.
