Senior Data Analyst Job Description

This is an opportunity to join our data team and take ownership of turning raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions.

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for designing and developing reports and data outputs, writing advanced SQL queries to analyze large datasets, and using Python for more advanced analytics and data processing tasks.

The role requires strong technical and analytical skills, experience working with large datasets, and proficiency in SQL and Python. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience with cloud-based data warehouses like BigQuery or Redshift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data analysis solutions to support business decisions.
  • Write advanced SQL queries to analyze large datasets and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
  • Use Python for more advanced analytics and data processing tasks.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, design experiments, and uncover actionable insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with expertise in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses like BigQuery or Redshift.
