The Head of Supply Chain will oversee procurement, logistics, and international trade operations, ensuring efficient import and export of goods.

The role requires expertise in global sourcing, customs regulations, supply chain optimization, and cost control to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies for sourcing raw materials and onboard global suppliers.
  • Import & Export Management: Oversee the end-to-end import process, ensure timely customs clearance, and optimize freight and shipping strategies.
  • Logistics & Distribution: Manage inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse and inventory management, and implement best practices in transportation planning.
  • Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management: Develop strategies aligned with business growth and production needs, and ensure accurate demand forecasting.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to international trade laws, customs regulations, and industry standards, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Cost Optimization & Process Improvement: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in procurement, logistics, and trade operations, and leverage technology to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, foster a culture of accountability, and collaborate with finance, production, and sales teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 12+ years in procurement, logistics, and international trade in a manufacturing environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in Manufacturing Industry

Key Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Expertise in global sourcing, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and supply chain management software.
  • Knowledge of INCOTERMS, trade finance, and international shipping documentation.
