We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Expert to join our team. As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients' data modernization journey.

In this exciting role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact with our clients, working closely with them to modernize their data infrastructures, architecture, and pipelines. You'll be responsible for consulting on cloud-first strategies, providing thought leadership on process and technical matters, and becoming a trusted advisor on all facets of Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, deploy, and support the modernization and transformation of client-end-to-end data strategy
  • Lead mentoring and education sessions to keep client teams up-to-speed with the latest approaches, tools, and skills
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of data engineering projects

Requirements:

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate certification or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of success in consulting or contracting capacity in large data management and modernization programs
  • Extensive experience working with SQL Servers, data engineering platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Synapse
  • Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and Lakehouse Architecture, Kafka, Spark, RBAC, Key Vault, and Azure Security Center
  • Proficiency in Scala, Python, Linux administration, networking, and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and ARM templates
