Job Description:

As a seasoned leader, the Project Director will spearhead a comprehensive safety transformation project for a prominent steel company with multiple business units across India.

The Director will proactively plan, direct, and implement all aspects of the transformation program, including construction safety activities and operational safety transformation at designated sites.

The successful candidate will foster a strong safety culture by demonstrating exceptional leadership, communication, and engagement skills with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage client top management to resolve issues effectively.
  • Manage change and establish clear communication plans.
  • Communicate frequently about the project to stakeholders via various channels.
  • Report on project roll out status, budget, capacity plan, and Key Parameters in regular and consistent manner.
  • Promote best safety practices during project implementation.
  • Review program effectiveness/components and course correct when necessary.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide feedback to Management.
  • Organize platform for learning lessons and deploy learning in project.
  • Manage construction safety and projects operational management at site.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in working on Safety Culture Transformation projects.
  • Strong consulting exposure of 5 years, with experience working in large steel plants.
  • Overall Experience greater than 20 years.
  • International Experience preferably from UK, Europe, Australia, or Middle East.
  • Age between 45-55 years.
