Piping Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Design Expert to contribute to the development and implementation of piping systems for energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and objectives, ensuring effective communication and seamless integration.
  • Design and develop piping systems, adhering to industry standards and regulations, including ASME, ANSI, API, and others.
  • Analyze technical specifications to determine suitable piping solutions, leveraging expertise in piping design principles and codes.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, including isometric and orthographic views, using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
  • Conduct stress analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems, utilizing tools like CAESAR II and ANSYS.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to guarantee smooth integration of piping systems, promoting a collaborative environment.
  • Review and approve vendor documents and drawings, upholding high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the installation and performance of piping systems, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the design, construction, or operation phases, applying analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Piping Engineer in the energy industry, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Thorough knowledge of piping design principles, codes, and standards, including ASME, ANSI, API, and others.
  • Proficiency in using piping design software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with stress analysis software, including CAESAR II and ANSYS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment, promoting collaboration and open communication.
  • Professional engineering license is preferred.
