Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our Alternative Investments and Private Equity Practice groups. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in partnership tax matters, including Subchapter K reporting.

The successful Tax Senior will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, as well as researching and consulting on tax-related issues. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review intermediate and complex level tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Research and consult on tax matters related to partnership entities, including Subchapter K reporting.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather data and information required for tax returns and other engagements.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions to open items and issues encountered during engagements.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring seamless communication with internal teams.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Significant progress toward earning an Enrolled Agent (EA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of recent public accounting firm experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
