Strategic Sourcing Director

Lead end-to-end sourcing projects with a focus on value, speed, and compliance.

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize category spend and improve supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective RFPs/RFXs.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and controls.
  • Manage contract remediation, including data privacy, OCIR, and country-specific terms.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and buying channel optimization.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement, preferably in technology procurement within financial services.
  • Strong expertise in RFPs, contract negotiations, vendor management, and compliance.
  • Proven experience in contractual review and redlining.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across divisions.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Leadership qualities to set objectives, coach teams, and drive operational effectiveness.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in operational/core sourcing teams in technology.
  • Regulatory remediation experience (Data Privacy, OCIR, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and governance practices.

This role requires strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across divisions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex sourcing projects and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
