Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

Job Summary:

  • AP Managers oversee the accounts payable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
  • They manage AP staff, enforce financial controls, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily AP operations, including invoice processing and reconciliations.
  • Develop and implement AP processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage, train, and support accounts payable staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Monitor vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate AP reports and assist with audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or accounting, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices.
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Process and approve vendor invoices and payments.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and compliance procedures.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure.
