Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cloud infrastructure architect to join our Platform Engineering Observability team. As a cloud infrastructure architect, you will design, implement, and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure, as well as manage self-hosted and on-premises assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.

Tools and Technologies:

  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting cloud-based platforms.
