  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js with frameworks like Fastify and Express.
  • Work within a monorepo architecture (Turborepo or Nx) to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deploy and maintain infrastructure on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Write well-documented APIs and test them using Postman and automated tools.
  • Conduct load and performance testing to ensure system reliability under scale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure backend systems follow best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with Node.js, Typescript and its ecosystem.
  • Experience working with monorepo setups.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD workflows and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Cloud experience with AWS and/or GCP services.
  • Experience with AI frameworks.
  • Familiarity with API testing and load testing tools.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Solid knowledge of databases and ORMs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to observability tools.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code.
