Electrical Engineer Position

Orbit Skyline is seeking a skilled Electrical/Electronic Engineer with expertise in electronics/electrical components.

Job Overview

This role involves providing engineering support and solutions to customers, while contributing to the development of the semiconductor ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods
  • Work on obsolescence activities to qualify replacements, perform testing, and release in the system along with documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that will develop into detailed drawings for manufacturing
  • Present designs throughout different phases of design and development
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 3-5 years of experience
  • Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience
  • Comfortable working with US-based timings
Mandatory Technical Skills
  • Good understanding of electronics components, schematics, and system interconnects
  • Select and recommend components based on application and circuit requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Critical/system-level thinking
  • Project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with part lifecycle management, change orders using PLM systems
  • Working knowledge of electronic component obsolescence
  • Understanding of PCB and components
  • Hands-on experience with testing electronics components, bench-level test, and system-level test
  • Proficiency with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software
