Job Title

A skilled Software Engineer in Test is sought after to work alongside our Australian engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing automated tests using Cypress for end-to-end UI testing, developing and extending test frameworks in C# and TypeScript for API, integration, and unit testing, configuring and scheduling nightly executions of UI tests using GitHub Actions, analysing test results, triaging failures, and collaborating with developers to resolve defects.

Additional duties include writing clear, maintainable, and reusable test code, adhering to best practices and coding standards, continuously improving test coverage, performance, and reliability, and mentoring junior QA engineers on automation tools and techniques.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in test automation for web applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • Proficiency in C# and/or TypeScript, with solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.
  • Experience building and maintaining test frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, Jest).
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps: pipelines, repos, artifacts, and test plans.
  • Working knowledge of AWS: provisioning, IAM, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable with Git and modern development workflows (feature branches, pull requests, code reviews).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
