Network Architecture Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architecture Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network architectures that meet the needs of our global organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy robust network architectures that ensure high levels of performance, reliability, and security.
  • Develop strategic plans for network upgrades and expansions.
  • Analyze network traffic and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for their implementation in our network architecture.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing network architectures.
  • Expertise in enterprise data center networking hardware, including switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Experience with cloud hosting technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and RackSpace.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as shell scripting, Ansible, and Python.
  • Familiarity with server and storage infrastructure.
  • Maintain production networks, including VLANs, MPLS, SDWan, Internet, IP-as-a-Service, DNS, BGP Monitor.
  • Maintain and configure VPNs, ACL, and Firewall rules, Network Address Translation (NAT).
  • A solid understanding of application protocols, IP management, Password management, and Network Alerting.
  • Judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when needed.
  • Bachelor's Degree or similar experience.
