Job Title: Financial Accounting Professional

The Pant Project is seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Professional to join our finance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality financial results.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles, a proven track record in financial statement preparation, and experience with NACAS Accounting Standards and IND AS.

In addition to your technical skills, you should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

You will work closely with our leadership team to ensure that all financial data is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with NACAS Accounting Standards and IND AS.
  • Manage the entire month-end book closure process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
  • Conduct a thorough review of expenses to ensure proper classification, recognition, and TDS compliances.
  • Oversee revenue recognition processes in line with accounting standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
  • Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and other balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant accounting or finance role.
  • Proven expertise in the preparation of financial statements and the month-end closing process.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
