Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Administration
    • Configure support for Access Control and CCTV systems
    • Diagnostics and troubleshooting of software and hardware issues
    • Remote support to internal clients on system configuration
    • Identify and analyze system failures and provide support to on-site techs for break-fix
    • Track system issues through to resolution within agreed time limits
    • Escalaated unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
  • Application Server Support
    • Install and configure security system applications on servers
    • 24x7 monitoring of application services hosted on servers
    • Escalation of unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
  • Technical Service Delivery
    • Timely and professional response to emergency service calls during office hours and off-office hours
    • Involvement of other team members to establish best practices/decisions
    • Act independently as required
    • Report to senior management to ensure satisfaction of work
    • Participate in departmental meetings
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems with experience in installation and maintenance an asset
  • Experience in CCURE 9000 and CCURE GO software and all related hardware (i.e., iStar controller) and integration
  • Enterprise CCTV systems knowledge like Intellicene (Cognyte/Verint), Symphia VMS, Genetec video solutions
  • Windows Server Operating systems experience (e.g., Windows Server 2016, 2019)
  • SQL experience an asset
  • Powershell programming experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, technical trouble shooting, reverse engineering, verbal and written communication skills, motivated self-starter, and ability to multitask
  • Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent qualification
