About the Video Production Role

Overview of the Position:

As a senior video production expert, you will oversee full-cycle video projects from inception to delivery. This leadership position involves managing cinematographers and editors, coordinating on-location shoots across multiple sites, and collaborating with internal stakeholders for project success.

This role is ideal for those who enjoy directing real-world content, managing projects from start to finish with clarity and creative control, and traveling frequently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning, directing, and executing high-quality video shoots at various campuses and institutions.
  • Leading and coordinating the work of field cinematographers and in-house editors to ensure timely delivery of all videos.
  • Handling scripts, shoot schedules, and crew coordination to guarantee seamless execution.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders for script approvals, shoot requirements, and feedback.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of all videos while maintaining quality control.
  • Adapting to different content formats such as interviews, documentaries, podcasts, and campus features.
Requirements and Skills:

  • Good experience in video production, direction, or creative project management.
  • A strong command over shoot planning, visual storytelling, and project timelines.
  • The ability to handle dynamic on-ground environments with lean teams.
