SAP Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Project Manager to lead the implementation of SAP solutions for our client's business processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the scope, budget, timeline, quality, and risks, as well as coordinating the communication and collaboration among the CR/Enhancement stakeholders, team members, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and document the CR/Enhancement objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Coordinate with SAP vendors and partners and maintain effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, standards, and methodologies, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage SAP projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and consultants to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, risk registers, issue logs, and status reports.
  • Monitor and control project activities, resources, costs, and risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage the SAP support team and assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
  • Manage timelines for issue resolutions.
  • The SAP Manager will also oversee the SAP system administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and security.
  • Develop and maintain the CR/Enhancement plan, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Manage the CR/Enhancement execution, monitoring, and control, ensuring that the CR/Enhancement deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet the quality standards.
  • Identify and manage the CR/Enhancement risks, issues, and changes, and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Manage the CR/Enhancement communication and reporting, ensuring that the CR/Enhancement status, progress, and issues are communicated effectively and timely to the CR/Enhancement stakeholders, team members, and vendors.
  • Manage the CR/Enhancement closure, ensuring that the CR/Enhancement deliverables are accepted, documented, and handed over to the business owners and users.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's policies, standards, and best practices for CR/Enhancement management and SAP.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 05 years of experience in managing SAP CR/Enhancements, preferably in the manufacturing or metal industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in SAP modules, such as MM, PP, SD, FI, CO, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in SAP CR/Enhancement management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • PMP or SAP certification is a plus.
  • Stakeholder Management.
