As a Data Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our data systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical support for data-related issues, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and hardware maintenance.
  • IT Operations Management: Manage daily IT operations, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and minimizing downtime.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, changes, and validation efforts, while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, GDPR, NIS2).
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including compliance, security, and development, to ensure alignment on data infrastructure initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in databases, networking, server management, and operating systems (Windows). Experience with Azure, Active Directory, and SQL is highly desirable.
  • ITIL Frameworks: Familiarity with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
  • Vendor Management: Proven experience in managing vendors and contractors.
  • Compliance: Knowledge of GxP regulations and internal policies.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to represent the organization externally.
