About the Role:

Our organization seeks an accomplished guitarist to teach children aged 4-14 through live online sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach guitar lessons in a fun and engaging manner
  • Motivate students to achieve their goals
  • Evaluate student performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Conduct demo sessions to ensure conversions
  • Offer group and private lessons as required
  • Create a stimulating learning environment

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Music (Guitar)
  • Strong music theory knowledge and sheet music skills
  • Sound subject matter expertise
  • At least one year of teaching experience in guitar
  • Prior teaching experience
  • Familiarity with technology in education is a plus

Skills and Requirements:

  • Effective English communication skills
  • Experience in online teaching
  • A reliable laptop/desktop
  • Access to strong internet services and backup power sources
  • Comfortable teaching children
  • Able to teach six days a week
  • A passion for making learning enjoyable
  • Proficient in music theory and sight reading
