Job Opportunity:

Lateral flow assay development is a critical component of point-of-care diagnostics. As a Senior LFA Development Expert, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative LFA solutions to drive progress in human health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and validate lateral flow assays for various applications, including diagnostic testing and research use, to advance knowledge in biomedical sciences.
  • Design and optimize LFA configurations to achieve optimal performance, sensitivity, and specificity, ensuring consistency in results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate LFA solutions into existing product portfolios, fostering innovation and growth.
  • Develop and implement robust quality control measures to ensure consistent assay performance, maintaining high standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to maintain expertise in LFA development, staying ahead in the field.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Analytical Chemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline, providing a strong foundation in relevant sciences.
  • Minimum 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in LFA development, preferably in the IVD or medical device industry, showcasing practical skills.
  • Expert-level skills in nanoparticle bioconjugation, experimental design, statistical analysis, and LFA manufacturing considerations, demonstrating expertise in specific areas.
  • Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing LFAs for whole blood samples and familiarity with regulatory guidelines (e.g., ISO 13485), indicating adherence to industry standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of analytical techniques for characterizing nanoparticles (e.g., DLS, Zeta Potential, TEM, UV-Vis Spectroscopy), showcasing advanced technical skills.
