Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled QA professional to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Create robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin) to ensure high-quality product delivery.
  • Testing: Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality across web, API, and integration layers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure test coverage.
  • Maintenance: Implement and maintain Page Object Model (POM) for scalable and maintainable automation, as well as build and extend core framework utilities such as wrappers, waits, retry mechanisms, and driver handling.
Required Skills & ExpertiseCore QA Automation Skills
  • Selenium WebDriver: Deep knowledge of WebDriver APIs, custom waits, element handling, and synchronization issues.
  • BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin): Writing business-readable feature files and mapping steps correctly to ensure reusability and modularity.
  • Java (or framework language): Strong OOP concepts (inheritance, abstraction, polymorphism), clean code practices with SOLID principles, and exception handling.
Framework & Layer-Specific Skills
  • Step Definitions: Designing high-level steps without mixing UI locator logic and ensuring modularity and reusability.
  • Page Object Model (POM): Strong understanding of POM & Page Factory and writing maintainable locators and encapsulating UI interactions.
  • Core Framework (Wrappers, Waiters, Driver handling): Building wrapper methods around Selenium APIs, implementing custom waits, retry mechanisms, and driver utilities, and extending WebDriver with custom elements where needed.
Additional Skills
  • Manual Testing: Hands-on experience with functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing.
  • API Testing: Experience in API testing using Postman/RestAssured.
  • Test Planning & Defect Management: Strong understanding of test planning, test design, and defect management.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2+ years in automation testing, and proven experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
