Job Title:

Data Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Data Security Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

About the Role:

The successful Data Security Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Participating in the design, implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of privacy policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Supporting the execution of Information Security and privacy inherent to new engagements for Infra.
  • Identifying technological opportunities and evaluating the Information Security and privacy impacts on end Points.
  • Preventing/deterring theft and fraud through physical presence and engagement.
  • Supporting the security team by carrying out day-to-day operational tasks utilizing specialized applications, tools, and platforms.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum three years of experience in IT Security – Data Loss Prevention.
  • Credentialed or trained in cyber and privacy (e.g., CISSP) preferred.
  • Certified in CCNA, routing and switching, security.
  • Familiarity with Symantec Control Compliance Suite is desirable.
  • Understanding of third-party risk management considerations, incident response, and crisis management processes.
  • A good understanding of cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Management of multiple OEMs & vendors in large complex environments.
