Job Title: Senior Fabrication Manager

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced senior fabrication manager to lead and manage our end-to-end fabrication activities across multiple units.
  • The ideal candidate will develop and implement fabrication strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements.
  • A key responsibility will be to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and timely project completion.
  • This involves collaborating with design, procurement, planning, and quality departments for seamless execution.
  • Key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, utilization, rejection rates, etc. will be monitored on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Another key aspect is driving process improvements, automation, and lean manufacturing practices within the team.
  • The selected candidate will plan manpower, machine loading, and material availability effectively.
  • Mentoring the fabrication team and identifying skill gaps for performance enhancement is also a crucial task.
  • Maintenance of documentation, reports, and ensuring audit readiness is another responsibility.
  • Management of subcontracting activities and vendor performance may also be involved.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication.
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, codes, and standards.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, fabrication software/tools, and production planning systems.
