Job Summary:

As a skilled Embedded Software Engineer, you will design and develop cutting-edge embedded software solutions for microcontrollers and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare technical documentation and design specifications, contributing to the knowledge base of the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, driving continuous improvement of embedded development methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++ (mandatory), and exposure to Python/Shell scripting (desired).
  • Hands-on experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) like FreeRTOS, VxWorks, ThreadX, and similar platforms.
  • Experience working with ARM, PIC, STM32, or similar microcontrollers, with a deep understanding of their architecture and capabilities.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools like JTAG, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and other relevant equipment.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git, ensuring smooth collaboration and code management.
  • Understanding of hardware schematics and datasheets, enabling effective hardware-software integration.
  • Knowledge of embedded Linux is an added advantage, allowing for seamless interaction between software and hardware components.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to IoT platforms, BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, or other wireless technologies, enhancing your ability to work with diverse ecosystems.
  • Experience with safety-critical or automotive standards (ISO 26262, MISRA C), ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Knowledge of DevOps for embedded systems (CI/CD), streamlining the development process and improving efficiency.
