Job Title:

Lead Transaction Counsel

Job Summary:

This is a purpose-driven role that involves analysing and identifying legal risks and implications in all business transactions.

The successful candidate will safeguard the interests of the organisation in relation to contractual obligations with third parties.

  • Gathering detailed information from internal stakeholders in respect of any legal query or agreement
  • Aligning multiple internal and external stakeholders and bringing them on the same page
  • Managing priorities in case of parallel running time critical engagements
Main Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and transactions executed by the company.

  • Mitigate any company risks that may come up from any contractual commitments
  • Manage contractual timelines and discussion regarding renewals, amendments and change orders
  • Monitor changes to regulatory requirements and advise compliance proactively handling regulatory developments
  • Serve as a lead counsel on all strategic deals resolving issues that arise in commercial contracts
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a law graduate degree with 10-14 years of experience in the relevant sector.
