As a seasoned web development manager, you will lead and mentor a cross-functional team of developers and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable web applications. Your expertise in PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter) and WordPress will be essential in architecting, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a dynamic team of web developers and project managers to ensure timely delivery aligned with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using PHP frameworks and WordPress, ensuring adherence to web standards, data security, and compliance protocols.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Implement best practices in coding, architecture, and project management to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Manage resources, timelines, and communication between internal teams and external clients to meet project objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on PHP and WordPress.
  • Proven experience in leading web development teams and managing complex projects.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in one or more PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, multisite, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git), deployment tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with hosting environments and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Agile/Scrum project management experience.
