Job Overview:

To support the simulation team in analyzing customer products using Ansys Maxwell/Motor CAD.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform 2D & 3D FE analysis of electrical and electronic devices and components.
  • Provide online/offline training to customers on Ansys tools, including Maxwell and Motor CAD.
  • Be well-versed with 2D/3D Maxwell Pre/Solver/Post processors.
  • Must be skilled in the following types of tools/simulations:

- RM xprt

- Maxwell 2D and 3D

- Maxwell Circuit

- Motor CAD

- BLDC motors

- Induction motor (single-phase and three-phase)

- Design optimization

Key Requirements:

  • Focus on quality and delivery metrics when performing the following tasks.

Finite Element Preprocessing (Geometry clean-up/de-featuring & meshing),

Solving (Convergence, numerical stability, and accuracy).

Post Processing (motor performance plot).

Verification and Validation of Maxwell Results with test data/analytical data.

Generation of FE Analysis reports.

Interactions:

  • Interact with customer teams for inputs and deliverables.
  • Prepare analysis summaries for technical review meetings with clients.
  • Provide valuable recommendations and design suggestions to clients.

Desired Skills:

  • Proven experience in Electromagnetic analysis with Ansys Maxwell.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a passion for learning and teaching.
  • Excellent understanding of Finite Element Analysis, Electrical machines, and Machine design.
  • Self-starter with excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in Maxwell simulation and clear presentation of simulation results.
  • Strong ability to handle multiple projects.
