About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Renewable Energy Engineer to join our team. This role requires expertise in vibration analysis, preferably within the wind energy sector.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the vibration levels of wind turbine drive train components to ensure optimal performance and early detection of potential issues.

This role involves conducting routine and ad-hoc vibration analysis on Siemens Gamesa wind turbines, monitoring and analyzing vibration data to identify abnormalities and potential issues.

The ideal candidate will utilize vibration analysis tools and software to interpret data and generate detailed reports, perform root cause analysis of vibration-related problems and recommend corrective actions.

Collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams is essential to implement solutions for identified issues and maintain accurate records of all vibration analysis activities and findings.

Staying updated with the latest advancements in vibration analysis and condition monitoring technologies is also crucial.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in vibration analysis, preferably within the wind energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of vibration principles, signal processing, and data interpretation.
  • Proficiency with vibration analysis tools and software (e.g., SKF, Gram&Juhl, Bachmann etc).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct detailed root cause analysis.
  • Good English skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
