Job Description

As an IPR Manager at CJ Konsultants, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of IPR matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and designs. Your expertise will include prosecution, oppositions, rectifications, and attending trademark, copyright, industrial design hearings. You will also be responsible for communicating with global law firms on IPR matters, filing Madrid applications, and handling IP filings in multiple countries.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate expertise in managing all aspects of IPR matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and designs.
  • Exhibit strong communication and drafting skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Showcase leadership abilities, with experience managing teams of 10 or more, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Display proficiency in MS Office tools and a readiness to adopt new technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date on developments in intellectual property laws and industry trends, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a competitive edge.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to critically review various types of documents.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities, including maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Successfully manage and collaborate with global law firms on IPR matters.
Requirements
  • Possess 8 to 10+ years (or more) of post-qualification experience as an IPR lawyer in a reputable IP law firm.
  • Expertise in drafting oppositions, counter statements, evidence submissions, interlocutory petitions, legal notices, and replies to legal notices.
  • Proven ability to prepare and effectively negotiate with attorneys.
  • Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and vetting a wide range of legal documents, rejoinders including but not limited to employment agreements, policies, collaboration agreements, terms and conditions, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage deadlines for all intellectual property (IP) matters.
Salary Range

Rupees 25 - 40 Lakhs per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
