Seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineering Leader to drive our engineering team's success. The ideal candidate will have a strong development background in JAVA/J2EE, Springboot, and Microservices, a proven track record of successful team leadership, and a deep understanding of technology.


Responsibilities:



  • Technical Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to define and execute the overall technical strategy aligned with business goals. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within established timelines and budget constraints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between engineering and other departments.
  • Technical Excellence: Foster a culture of technical excellence, quality, and best practices within the engineering team. Provide technical guidance and support to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of priorities. Communicate engineering strategies, progress, and challenges to the executive team.

Requirements:



  • 12+ years of experience in Software Engineering with at least 5+ years as an engineering leader in a software product company.
  • Deep technical knowledge in Software Product Engineering using Java/J2EE, multithreading, data structures, collections, OOPS, synchronization, Algorithm, Microservices, Springboot, full-stack, NoSQL DB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j, Elasticsearch, Kibana, ELK, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes.
  • Key programming skills: Java, J2EE with cutting-edge technologies.
  • High technical credibility - ability to audit technical decisions and push for the best solution to a problem.
  • Experience building E2E applications from backend database to persistent layer.
  • Experience with NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Experience in developing Enterprise Software using Agile Methodology.
  • Good understanding of Kafka, Redis, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Solr, etc.
  • SaaS cloud-based platform exposure.
  • Ownership of E2E design development and quality enterprise product/application deliverable exposure.
  • A track record of setting and achieving high standards.
  • Strong understanding of modern technology architecture.
  • Key programming skills: Java, J2EE with cutting-edge technologies.
  • Must have very hands-on work experience on core Java concepts like multithreading, data structures, collections, OOPS, synchronization, Algorithm, etc.
  • Excellent team building, mentoring, and coaching skills are a must-have.
