We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to create and optimize data platforms, pipelines, and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines.
- Develop and optimize data warehouses, lakes, and real-time streaming systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams for high-quality data availability.
- Evaluate and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across different systems.
- Implement effective data modeling, partitioning, and performance optimization strategies.
- Manage large-scale structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Automate data integration processes and enable self-service analytics.
- Stay current with emerging data engineering tools, cloud services, and best practices.
- 4-8 years of experience in data engineering or big data engineering.
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, and/or Scala for data processing.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Airflow, DBT, Informatica, Talend, etc.).
- Expertise in Big Data technologies: Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, etc.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services like Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks.
- Familiarity with data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
