Automation Engineer Position

We are seeking experienced professionals to lead the design, deployment, and operation of automated frameworks across enterprise endpoints. The role involves scripting, integration, compliance reporting, and collaboration with security and audit teams in a large-scale environment.

Job Summary:

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux system administration, automation, and patch management.
  • They will design and implement automated remediation for systems, develop scripts for compliance enforcement, schedule and deploy OS and application patches, and integrate patch management with dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Responsibilities also include real-time monitoring of patch management systems, troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed SOPs, deployment guides, and compliance documentation, provide training and knowledge transfer, and support statutory compliance reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in RHEL 7/8/9.
  • Strong scripting skills: Bash, Python, YAML.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Red Hat Satellite).
  • Familiarity with any Patching tools BigFix, ManageEngine etc.
  • Knowledge of integration protocols: SNMP, WinRM, SSH.
