As a Manual Tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our complex financial applications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct manual testing for trading and investment applications within the Front Office and Cash Equity domains.
  • Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents to identify potential issues.
  • Create detailed test cases and scenarios to validate system functionality.
  • Document and track defects using defect tracking tools to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in UAT support and release validation processes.
  • Evaluate test coverage and traceability across all phases of testing.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manual testing.
  • Strong domain knowledge in Front Office Operations and Cash Equity/Equity Trading.
  • Familiarity with order lifecycle, trade settlements, and capital markets.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, QC, ALM).
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Exposure to automation tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FIX protocol, Bloomberg, or similar trading platforms.
  • ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
