Job Title: Strategic Test Automation Lead

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Specialist with expertise in automation testing, particularly within the medical devices industry. The ideal candidate will lead and oversee automation testing activities, ensuring compliance with global healthcare regulations and high-quality delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all test automation activities across projects in the medical devices domain.
  • Review and approve test scripts prior to submission for acceptance by the Product Owner or SME.
  • Evaluate and implement best practices in test automation.
  • Mentor engineers in automation testing methodologies.
  • Build technical capabilities to handle complex testing scenarios.
  • Ensure adherence to global healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and align testing practices.
  • Serve as liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment between technical and business requirements.
  • Provide hands-on technical support when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of testing experience, including at least 5 years in test automation.
  • Developing and maintaining automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium.
  • Proven track record of leading automation testing for medical devices.
  • Experience with desktop-based automation on Windows platforms and FlaUI/WinAppDriver/TestComplete/WhiteFramework.
  • Hands-on experience in script review and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with global healthcare regulations.
  • Experience interpreting and applying these regulations in testing scenarios.
  • Demonstrated team leadership, coaching, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
