Murex BAU Consultant

As a Murex BAU Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and guidance to business users across various departments. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the seamless implementation, configuration, and development of Murex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and verify requirements for Murex system implementation.
  • Analyze and make recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.
  • Develop and test database and infrastructure changes to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Perform technical reviews of production changes to identify potential issues.
  • Write clear and concise documentation of issues and resolution within Confluence.
  • Maintain and enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches.
  • Resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, and reporting.
  • Provide detailed information about issues to vendors and coordinate testing fixes/solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity.
  • Strong technical capability and solid understanding of DataMart.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with bespoke Java processes supporting the Murex implementation.
