A Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using various technologies.

This role involves working with tools and technologies such as:

  1. Dataflow: A fully-managed service for transforming and enriching data streams.
  2. Cloud Composer: A managed workflow orchestration service that lets you create, manage, and monitor workflows.
  3. Airflow: A platform to programmatically schedule tasks or workflows.
  4. BigQuery: A fully-managed enterprise data warehouse service that can handle petabytes of structured and semi-structured data.
  5. Cloud Storage: Highly durable and available object storage service for storing large amounts of unstructured data such as raw logs, images, audio files, and text files.
  6. Pub/Sub: A messaging service for event ingestion and processing applications.

As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.

Required skills and qualifications include expertise in SQL Database and GCP, specifically BigQuery for real-time analytics.
