Job Title: Snowflake Data Platform Lead

Job Summary:

The Snowflake Data Platform Lead will be responsible for driving the growth and development of Snowflake capabilities within the organization. This role will involve technical leadership, solution development, and delivery excellence for Snowflake-based data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Technical Leadership: Provide architectural guidance for Snowflake solution design and implementation.
  • Develop and Enhance Offerings: Develop and enhance Snowflake-based data platform offerings and accelerators.
  • Collaborate with Alliance Teams: Collaborate with alliance teams to strengthen partnership with Snowflake.
  • Lead Solutioning Efforts: Lead solutioning efforts for proposals, RFIs, and RFPs involving Snowflake.
  • Conduct Technical Reviews: Conduct technical reviews and ensure adherence to design standards.
  • Oversight and Development: Support delivery teams with technical expertise across Snowflake projects, drive quality assurance, performance optimization, and project risk mitigation.
  • Talent Development: Build and grow a high-performing Snowflake capability team, define skill development pathways and certification goals for team members, mentor architects, developers, and consultants on Snowflake technologies.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with sales and pre-sales teams to position Snowflake capabilities, contribute to account growth by identifying new Snowflake opportunities, participate in client presentations, workshops, and technical sessions.
  • Thought Leadership: Build thought leadership through whitepapers, blogs, and webinars, stay updated with Snowflake product enhancements and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 12-15 years of experience in Data Engineering & Analytics, with at least 3-5 years of deep Snowflake expertise.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, security, and data sharing, hands-on knowledge of SQL, Snowflake utilities, ELT pipelines, and integration with BI/Analytics tools, exposure to data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Certifications: Snowflake certifications preferred (e.g., SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced).
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
